Birth Name: Ronny Olsen

Well-known as lead singer "Ronnie Dread" in the former Reggae band "Dread Men Walking" which was quite famous a few years ago and is still remembered by many in the reggae scene in Norway. Now he is well known as the drummer for B.Thomas :-)

Donnie has always loved country music, since he was a little boy. As Ron evolved musically, he also learned to play drums. He was very happy when he in 2007 was asked to play drums in "Redneck Cowboys", the live band for B. Thomas. Ron had heard of the country singer and had also heard music from his album that was made in Nashville, he liked what he heard and decided to join the band as the new drummer. It was not long before Ron got the artist name "Donnie Red". It was simply a name that sounded like a real American country-name and standing in line for his second artist name "Ronnie Dread". Ron change therefore what name he should use, depending on whether he plays country music with B. Thomas or going out to play Reggae or other music with other bands.
